Cybersecurity for Operational Systems
Understand who can access your systems, how environments are separated, and what recovery depends on. Start with a defined review and a practical set of priorities before committing to changes.
Digital systems review
For software, data and automation workflows whose access, ownership or recovery arrangements need clarification.
- Map identities, permissions, shared access and responsible roles.
- Review the separation between work, guest, test and operational environments.
- Review recovery plans, backup responsibilities and available evidence of restore tests.
Meeting rooms and working environments
Separate scope proposal · for review
An authorized on-site assessment can combine visual inspection, an inventory of expected equipment, and passive RF/Wi-Fi observations compared with that inventory. It is a documented assessment of the agreed space and conditions.
- Audit previously scoped and authorized rooms, comparing expected equipment under the conditions agreed for the visit.
- Record relevant observations only within the instruments’ verified coverage.
- Distinguish confirmed findings, indications that need investigation, and areas not assessed.
How the work is scoped
- 1. Describe the system or space and the decision you need to make, without sending secrets.
- 2. Agree on authorization, boundaries, participants, evidence and deliverables before work starts.
- 3. Review findings and decide on the next steps. Implementation and active testing require a separate scope.
A reviewable result
- Written scope, conditions, evidence considered and coverage limits.
- Findings separated from indications and unanswered questions.
- Priorities, responsible roles and a proposed action plan.
What this review can establish
Findings describe the agreed coverage and conditions. No findings does not prove that a space is free of devices or that a system is uncompromised. Powered-off, wired or intermittent devices may not appear in passive observations. This scope does not include interception, credential collection, jamming, deauthentication, forensic examination or certification.
